When Echoes launched, players loved a great deal of it — but a handful of elements were holding the rest back. We heard that loud and clear, so we went back in and tackled them head-on. The Enhanced Edition is the result: a free update that touches nearly every part of the journey, available now for everyone who owns the game.
Combat has been reworked from the ground up — faster, more readable, with new animations and a fresh armour and equipment system that lets you shape Ryn around the way you like to fight. Whether you lean into the blade, into her gravity and illusion magic, or somewhere in between, there's far more room to make the moment-to-moment yours.
Beyond combat, we've smoothed out traversal and locomotion, retuned pacing across the whole campaign, and added new difficulty options and a New Game+ for players who want to take Ryn's power further than before. Dozens of smaller refinements — quality-of-life, readability, polish — round it out.
We could have moved on after launch. We didn't, because we don't believe a game is finished the day it ships — least of all a debut. This update is for the community that stayed with us and pushed us to do better, and it's the foundation for everything we've added since.
