Myrkur Participates in the 2017 Startup Reykjavík Accelerator

Startup Reykjavik is an intensive 10-week program run every summer in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Myrkur team is incredibly excited to announce their participation in this prestigious accelerator which provides the team with a unique opportunity to work with talented mentors, entrepreneurs and advisors who can help with the growth and development of Myrkur and its upcoming game.

Startup Reykjavik is an intensive 10-week program run every summer in Reykjavik, Iceland. It is a seed stage investment program where the teams selected to participate receive $20,000 in funding along with access to top-notch mentors, office space and a host of perks. Out of 150 applicant companies, 10 have been selected to participate. In 2017 the participating companies are Bone & Marrow, Data Plato, Itogha, Myrkur, My Shopover, Maul, Porcelain Fortress, Flow Education, Safe Seat, Safe Seat and Zifra Tech.  

The business accelerator is a part of the Global Accelerator Network, GAN which means that every startup that is accepted to Startup Reykjavik has access to over $100,000 worth of perks. Startup Reykjavik was founded by Arion Bank & Icelandic Startups (previously Innovit Entrepreneurship Center and Klak) in April 2012. Startup Reykjavik is fully owned by Arion Bank hf.
